Excellent service above and beyond my expectations. The owner Doug Theroux took the time to explain the process and the work to be performed. Most importantly he followed through to the finish, making sure I was satisfied with the final product. He dealt with the insurance company, including drive to the Southington Police Department to pick up a copy of the accident report to expedite the evaluation and payment. Not only did they repair the damage, but took care of a few small scrapes and dents and a full detailing. You don’t see this kind of service anymore. I would definitely recommend Theroux Auto Body to anyone needing bodywork.

Simply the best experience we have ever had with a auto accident. Owner stayed involved thru entire process. He met with adjuster, managed the repair and the car came back in perfect condition. They detailed the entire car including buffing out some old scratches. This is the company you want handling your car repair!

Excellent. Customer Service OFF THE CHARTS! Doug Theroux personally oversaw every step and detail, directly contacting both my insurance company and the paying insurance company to ensure everything was smooth and punctual. Matched the paint perfectly (to rest of vehicle). Arranged with insurance companies for transportation and a rental vehicle. Very communicative and extremely patient with my toddlers during the little wait we had (thanks to the blizzard!) We have moved further away, but I will drive the distance to take my vehicles back to Doug for body work!

Doug Theroux is very “old school” and does a repair job right, from beginning to end. From help dealing with the adjuster to setting up a rental vehicle he handles everything, and does so very well. Theroux makes every effort to get you the right parts at the right price and makes sure the insurance company pays to repair your car back the way it was pre-accident. Our family has used him several times over the last several years and each time he has handle everything very well and we were happy with the final product.

It could not have gone better. I received an estimate immediately. Doug arranged to have a rental car delivered to my home and he and the Enterprise driver took my car into the shop. The repairs were done on time and the car was returned to me at my home. When I got it back I noted that Doug had not only fixed the required repairs, but he had also ordered a chrome strip to repair one with an inexplicable ding in it on the side of the car , and scrapes to my other bumper as well. The car was washed, waxed and in perfect condition when it was returned. No one gives this type of service, and it was all done with a smile. I highly recommend this company.

Mr. Theroux was very accommodating and helped me understand the procedure of what he was going to do. He was professional, courteous and very respectful. He was even kind enough to return the rental car for me.

I was traveling to work a few months ago and a deer slammed right into the passenger side fender, and door. My car was a complete disaster. I was referred to Theroux and Co. by my brother in law who is also a mechanic- so he wouldn’t refer me to anybody who did bad work. I immediately contacted Doug (owner) who after explaining my situation was incredibly sympathetic. I got AAA to tow my vehicle there, but not before he asked me if I would like his staff to pick up my car free of charge. I explained that I had a baby and needed my car seat and couldn’t get it out of the car (tow truck driver from AAA was not any help) and once I got there near the end of the day- his staff removed it for me. From beginning to end, Doug and his staff were available, professional, and kept me up to speed every step of the way. From never having to use an auto body shop to needed this repair done quickly, they ended up fixing my entire car in about 2 1/2 weeks. I never had to deal with the adjuster, insurance company or any paperwork. Doug and his staff dealt with everything from the insurance company all the way down to the rental car. They were able to even have the rental car picked up that same day from the shop. I can’t say more great things about Doug and his staff. They also are not a typical repair facility looking to hose you and take your money. They clearly care about what they do and it shows. When I got my Jeep back, it looked better than from when I first bought it. Not only was the body work fabulous, the interior was spotless and clean.

I have now brought 2 cars to Doug and my family also uses him as well. He goes above and beyond in customer service and goes out of his way to get the job done, including speaking with the insurance companies. He made the process extremely smooth and my car looked 1000 times better when I received it back. I was recently in a rear end car accident and my rear bumper and trunk were crushed as well as my heart because I love my car. I was referred by a friend to Theroux Auto Body. My experience with Theroux was very good. They were pleasant to talk to and they always answered my questions in a patient and kind voice. The results were excellent as well. My car looks like her old self and I am a very happy customer.

I was recently rear-ended at a car wash of all places. The person behind me put their car in Drive rather than Neutral. The car is only a few months old so I was very upset by the damage to my car. That person’s insurance company did not question who was at fault but first started by suggesting a different auto body shop in their network. (Against the law in CT) After getting over that hurdle, they want me to self appraise the damage and taking photos to uphold through a link they had send me. I contacted Doug at Theroux Auto Body who told me not to worry that he would “handle” this. He jumped on the phone with the insurance company and make arrangements for something to physically inspect my car. He arranged for a rental car and within a few days had my car repaired to perfection. By far, this was the best experience I have ever had with an auto body shop.
